About the role
The Gardener is responsible for maintaining the visual appeal and functionality of the hotel’s outdoor areas. This includes caring for lawns, flower beds, trees, fountains and irrigation systems to ensure a pleasant environment for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the appearance of property grounds, including fountains, planters and other features.
- Install, water, weed, trim and prune flowers, shrubs, trees and grass beds.
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems, mowing equipment and other landscaping tools.
- Operate dump trucks, tractors and utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies and debris.
- Clean, refuel and perform routine maintenance on all equipment after use.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related grounds‑keeping or gardening experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Operation of dump trucks, tractors and other utility vehicles.
- Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of irrigation systems.
