GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics Teacher – Full‑Time

About the role

The Westminster School in Dubai is seeking a dedicated GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics Teacher to join its senior secondary team. You will plan, deliver and assess high‑quality mathematics lessons that prepare students for their external examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with GCSE and IGCSE curricula.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, practical investigations and technology to enhance learning.
• Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor progress.
• Differentiate instruction for high achievers and learners needing additional support.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades and reports.
• Participate in internal standardisation, moderation and departmental meetings.
• Contribute to extracurricular maths activities, clubs, competitions or field trips.
• Uphold school policies on discipline, attendance, safeguarding and GEMS codes of conduct.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related scientific field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching senior secondary IGCSE mathematics curriculum.
• Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
