General Accountant – Arabic Speaker

About the role

Al Marwan Group, a diversified GCC organization, is looking for a General Accountant who is fluent in Arabic and English. The candidate will work within the UAE construction, heavy‑machinery or real‑estate business units, handling full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations and general‑ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, cash‑flow management and expense tracking.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost control and financial forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT rules and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE construction, heavy‑machinery or real‑estate sector.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations and financial compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
