About the role

The General Maintenance & Shifter role at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort ensures the smooth operation of all hotel facilities. You will be responsible for executing daily maintenance schedules, addressing guest requests, and handling emergency situations to maintain high standards of comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the daily work schedule, performing planned maintenance tasks and responding promptly to guest requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other operational departments to support their maintenance needs.
• Inspect, test, and maintain air‑conditioning, water, and fire‑safety systems in accordance with hotel standards.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day equipment upkeep with all hotel departments.
• Liaise with external contractors on behalf of the hotel and assist external inspectors during inspections.

Required profile

• Strong ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, contractors, and guests.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC (air‑conditioning) systems.
• Understanding of water and fire‑safety system maintenance.
• Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance techniques.
