General Manager – Engineering & Construction (PMO)

About the role

Abu Alnaga Construction is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead its Engineering & Construction division. The role oversees large‑scale projects across the UAE, drives business growth, and ensures operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction and engineering operations.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee project teams, engineering departments, and site operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, consultants, and government authorities.
• Drive business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in the construction industry, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record with reputable construction and engineering firms in Dubai/UAE.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in business development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE construction regulations, standards, and market practices.
