General Manager – Founding Role for New Bathroom Brand

About the role

Lane Investments Group is launching Sorano, a new European bathroom brand positioned between legacy ceramic manufacturers and ultra‑premium Japanese imports. As the founding General Manager, you will shape the brand’s market entry, build its commercial engine, and lead cross‑functional teams across Europe, the Middle East and GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the sales strategy for Europe and the Middle East, targeting distributors, retailers, construction firms, architects and hospitality groups.
• Identify and close strategic B2B partnerships and drive B2C demand through digital channels.
• Serve as the market voice for product development, influencing model mix, finishes and accessories.
• Own end‑to‑end logistics, from factory to showroom, including freight forwarding, inventory planning and last‑mile delivery.
• Build forecasting, replenishment and SKU‑level inventory discipline for multi‑country roll‑out.
• Recruit, mentor and scale a commercial and operations team as the business grows.
• Collaborate with the CEO on strategy, board reporting and milestone tracking.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the premium bathroom or sanitaryware industry.
• Proven track record in commercial leadership, business development and market expansion.
• Strong understanding of European and GCC technical and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing complex supply‑chain and logistics operations.
