General Manager – MEP

About the role

Freesia Electro Mechanical Works, part of AZIZI Developments, is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) operations across major UAE projects. This senior position will drive strategic direction, ensure project delivery on time and within budget, and uphold compliance with UAE construction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee all MEP operations.
• Manage the full lifecycle of MEP projects from design coordination to final handover.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve timely and cost‑effective delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and profit‑and‑loss management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all MEP projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP contracting.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, and organizational abilities.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale MEP projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
