General Manager, Middle East & Africa

About the role

DEUTZ, the world’s oldest engine company, is establishing a new regional hub in JAFZA, Dubai. The General Manager will lead the creation of a dedicated Middle East & Africa entity, driving engine sales, service, and aftermarket growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to position DEUTZ as a market leader in MEA.
• Lead the end‑to‑end setup of the new entity, including legal registration, licensing, and building local sales and service capabilities.
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities for engine sales, defense, and power generation.
• Revitalize and expand the regional dealer network, setting performance targets and accountability.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, and strategic partners.
• Ensure a capable service infrastructure with reliable spare‑parts availability and technical support.
• Lead existing cross‑regional teams and recruit a high‑performing local team in Dubai.
• Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to refine the go‑to‑market approach.
