General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a prestigious hospitality concept in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall day‑to‑day operations, ensuring service excellence, guest satisfaction and strong commercial performance in a fast‑paced premium dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of service, food, beverage and presentation.
• Lead, coach and develop management and front‑of‑house teams, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor, building genuine relationships with guests, including VIPs and regular clientele.
• Own financial performance: budgeting, forecasting, labour and cost control, and P&L management.
• Analyse operational KPIs, identify revenue‑growth opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with culinary and senior leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Manage recruitment, training, performance management and staff retention.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing, stock control and supplier management.
• Support business development, marketing initiatives, events and partnership activities that drive venue growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operational leader in a premium or luxury dining setting.
• Strong understanding of high‑volume, high‑expectation hospitality operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, budgets, labour costs and operational KPIs.
• Natural leader who can inspire, develop and hold teams accountable.
• Excellent guest‑facing skills, comfortable handling VIPs and high‑pressure situations.
• Commercially minded with a clear grasp of profitability drivers.
• Outstanding communication, organization and decision‑making abilities.
