General Superintendent – Construction Projects

About the role

STRUCTURAL is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple construction projects in the UAE. You will oversee superintendents, foremen, and open‑shop crews delivering concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level field management to superintendents, foremen, and crews.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Division Managers on planning and execution.
• Motivate teams, coordinate work activities, and assign tasks based on material and labor needs.
• Ensure safe, proper, and productive use of tools and equipment.
• Train and support field managers and crews on job‑specific tasks.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates and creating look‑ahead schedules.
• Complete essential paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new field employees.
• Promote and uphold the company’s 24/7 safety culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
• 12+ years of general construction experience, including 5+ years in a field‑management role (Foreman, Assistant Superintendent or higher).
• Experience managing 3‑8 concurrent projects in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, or façade restoration.
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract specifications.
• Strong dedication to safety and adherence to operating principles.
