General Superintendent

About the role

Structural Group is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple projects in the UAE. You will oversee crews, superintendents, and foremen to ensure high‑quality concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level field management to superintendents, foremen, and open‑shop crews.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Division Managers on planning and execution.
• Participate in pre‑project and pre‑task planning, then communicate details to field teams.
• Motivate and coordinate team members, assign work based on material and labor requirements.
• Ensure safe, proper, and productive use of tools and equipment.
• Train and support field managers and crews in task performance.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates.
• Complete essential paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new field employees.
• Lead the company’s 24/7 safety culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in general construction, with at least 5 years in a field‑management role (Foreman, Assistant Superintendent or higher).
• Experience with concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, and façade restoration.
• Proven ability to manage 3‑8 projects simultaneously.
