General Technician – Hospitality Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on General Technician to carry out routine maintenance and repairs across our hotel, keeping rooms, facilities, and equipment in excellent working condition. The position is full‑time and based on‑site in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, AC, and general fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and internal departments.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify repair needs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report recurring issues to management.
• Assist with minor renovations, painting, and equipment installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with external contractors/vendors for specialized repairs.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in hospitality.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic understanding of English.
• Willingness to be on call for urgent repairs.
