About the role

The Global Banking Internship Programme 2027 offers UAE nationals a 10‑week summer experience within Standard Chartered's Global Banking team in Dubai. Interns work on real business challenges, gaining exposure to credit, advisory and structured finance solutions for corporate and financial institution clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior bankers on loan, bond and structured credit transactions.
• Conduct market and client research to inform advisory recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and financial models.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
• Engage with cross‑functional teams across the bank’s international network.

Required profile

• UAE national currently enrolled in a university program.
• Strong academic performance in any discipline.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically.
• High level of curiosity about markets, economies and business dynamics.
• Willingness to take ownership, learn quickly and work under pressure.
