Global Regulatory Legal Lead

About the role

Binance is seeking a senior legal professional to serve as the principal lead for its global regulatory affairs. The role involves shaping and executing a worldwide regulatory legal strategy while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Binance’s global regulatory legal team, providing strategic guidance on complex regulatory challenges.
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine a global regulatory legal strategy aligned with evolving international laws and directives.
• Act as the primary legal liaison with regulatory authorities worldwide, building strong relationships to advance Binance’s interests.
• Oversee preparation, submission, and management of regulatory filings, licenses, permits, and approvals across jurisdictions.
• Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters affecting Binance’s products, services, and operations.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, advising senior management on compliance measures and strategic responses.
• Coordinate legal responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, audits, and enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, business development, and product teams to embed regulatory considerations into business processes.
• Develop and deliver regulatory legal training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders globally.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and consultants, and oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management for the legal team.

Required profile

• Qualified to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience in regulatory affairs within the cryptocurrency or financial services sector.
• Proven ability to lead global legal teams and manage cross‑border regulatory projects.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with regulators and internal stakeholders.
