About the role

The Global Tax Vice President will shape and execute the tax strategy for a leading industrial organization operating worldwide. This permanent senior position combines deep tax expertise with strong leadership to drive compliance, optimise tax positions, and support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global tax strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead tax planning initiatives to optimise the company’s overall tax position.
• Oversee preparation and filing of tax returns in all operating countries.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams and external advisors on tax-related matters.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Manage tax audits and maintain effective relationships with tax authorities.
• Provide strategic tax advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other major transactions.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in global tax strategy and compliance, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of international tax regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
