Golf Operations Manager

About the role

The Golf Operations Manager will lead the Golf Department at Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club, ensuring world‑class service for members, guests and visitors. Reporting to the General Manager, the role combines operational leadership with commercial focus in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily golf operations, including tee‑sheet management, tournaments and member events.
• Recruit, develop and motivate the Golf Operations team.
• Oversee retail and merchandise sales, driving revenue from golf rounds and pro‑shop.
• Maintain high standards of service, safety and course quality.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve commercial targets and guest‑experience goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar golf operations or hospitality leadership role.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong operational focus on member and guest experience.
• Working knowledge of golf rules, operating systems and POS.
• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
• Organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and drive revenue‑generating initiatives.
