Graduate Design Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Hilti is seeking a UAE National Graduate Design Engineer to join its Project Management Organization in the UAE. You will support engineering and design applications of low to medium complexity, using Hilti modular support systems and proprietary software, while working under senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer low‑to‑medium complexity applications using Hilti modular support systems and PROFIS Installation software.
• Design modular support solutions in AutoCAD 2D/3D and support Revit, BIM, or plant design applications as required.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculation notes and bills of materials.
• Provide engineering support for anchors, direct fastening and modular support systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering codes, Hilti standards and safe engineering practices.
• Contribute to value‑engineering initiatives by balancing technical, commercial and logistical considerations.

Required profile

• UAE National holding a Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• Internship experience or up to 2 years of professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and English communication skills.
• High learning agility, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
