Graduate Electrical Engineer (UAE Nationals)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position is part of AECOM’s Graduate Program and provides exposure to strategic initiatives and building construction supervision projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design calculations, drawings, load schedules and comprehensive technical documentation for building services projects.
• Develop and optimise power, lighting and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Participate in site reviews, inspections and coordination activities to ensure design compliance and quality assurance.
• Contribute to design studies, equipment selection and evaluation of engineering solutions during planning and construction phases.
• Maintain organised project documentation, track deliverables and support workflows under senior engineer guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, graduating in 2025 or 2026.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent).
• UAE national holding a family book, as required by Emiratisation policy.
