Graduate Engineer - Maritime (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP is looking for an Emirati graduate to join its Marine Infrastructure team in the Middle East. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience on marine projects such as quay walls, jetties and breakwaters, while providing professional development and mentorship from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning and design, including technical studies, calculations, drawings and reports.
• Assist with structural analysis and design of marine structures using engineering software.
• Provide technical support during construction, site visits and issue resolution.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance throughout project execution.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers and participate in training opportunities.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Civil or Structural Engineering with a focus on marine infrastructure.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience on marine infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of marine engineering principles, design standards and construction methods.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing project requirements.
