Land Surveyor – Infrastructure & Roads

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join its infrastructure and roads team in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves performing field surveys, geodetic calculations and supporting the delivery of road and bridge projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings and related documents to understand survey requirements.
• Supervise survey works and ensure accurate setting‑out and level checks.
• Conduct land and field surveys, perform geodetic calculations and maintain field books, sketches and calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors to verify survey requirements and protect service locations.
• Complete surveying tasks within schedule, man‑hour and cost budgets.
• Prepare sketches, assist in as‑built drawings and support health‑ and safety activities on site.

Required profile

• Diploma or associate degree in Civil/Land Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 + years experience on infrastructure (roads & bridges) projects.
• Proficiency with CAD and survey software, total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to attend in‑person interviews.
