Graduate Technician Trainee – Power Systems

About the role

Join Aggreko as a Graduate Technician Trainee focusing on power systems. Over an 18‑month development programme you will gain hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical generators and receive additional training in temperature‑control (HVAC) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in classroom and practical training covering generator maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Assist senior technicians on‑site and in depots across the Middle East with commissioning, servicing and breakdown resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of training progress, service reports and equipment inspections.
• Adhere strictly to Aggreko’s QHSE and safety protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• Willingness to travel across the region and work in depot and on‑site environments.
• Valid local or international driving licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Business‑level English communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
