Ground Support Equipment Supervisor

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Supervisor to coordinate and deliver GSE support for both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities. The role ensures that all equipment is functional, safe, and available to meet the demanding timelines of line, base and overhaul maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise resources to provide GSE support to line maintenance, base maintenance, overhaul workshops and third‑party airlines.
• Inspect, test and certify major and specialised equipment before allocation to aircraft.
• Manage equipment defects, troubleshooting and on‑site repairs during maintenance tasks.
• Prioritise service delivery according to aircraft schedules and operational precedence.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and supervision to junior staff to maximise productivity.
• Supervise aircraft component logistics activities, ensuring safe handling and compliance with procedures.
• Lead the GSE team during out‑station deployments, overseeing equipment preparation, support and repacking.
• Assist in updating GSE procedures to improve safety and quality standards, adhering to the Engineering Procedures Manual.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in aircraft ground support equipment maintenance or related aviation logistics.
• Proven ability to supervise teams and coordinate multi‑disciplinary maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of safety, engineering and quality standards in an aviation environment.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and documentation.
