Group Consolidations & Reporting Lead

About the role

The Group Consolidations & Reporting Lead will oversee the preparation and delivery of consolidated financial statements for a multinational group of 13 legal entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role is based in JLT, Dubai and works within a small finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidated financial statements, ensuring accurate elimination of inter‑company balances and unrealised profits.
• Review subsidiary submissions for completeness, accuracy and IFRS compliance.
• Monitor new and amended IFRS standards, prepare technical accounting papers and position memos.
• Produce consolidated management reports, dashboards and variance analysis for senior leadership and the Board.
• Coordinate year‑end statutory reporting and group audits with external auditors and subsidiary finance teams.
• Establish and maintain group‑wide inter‑company accounting policies and reconciliation processes.
• Manage and enhance consolidation systems (ERP / consolidation tools) and drive automation and process improvements.
• Lead stakeholder communication, acting as the primary contact for auditors, advisors and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA or ACCA) is mandatory.
• 7+ years of finance experience, including extensive group consolidation and reporting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting.
• Proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.
