Group Exercise Manager

About the role

Black Pearl is seeking an experienced Group Exercise Manager to lead and develop group fitness programmes at its premier sports, fitness and leisure destination in the UAE. This hands‑on leadership role combines operational management with active participation in classes, events and member engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and performance of the group exercise department.
• Maintain high standards of coaching, safety, member service and class delivery.
• Design and implement structured, results‑focused group exercise programmes for all fitness levels, including signature classes.
• Conduct regular class observations, quality checks and departmental audits.
• Monitor attendance, participation, feedback and overall programme performance.
• Support membership growth and retention through engaging fitness experiences.
• Lead, mentor and develop group exercise coaches via workshops and training sessions.
• Ensure coaches follow approved training methods, service standards and safety procedures.
• Keep studios, training areas and equipment safe, clean and ready for use.
• Maintain professional certifications and UAE fitness registration requirements.
• Assist with member events, fitness challenges, promotional activities and community initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve broader business objectives.
