Group Financial Controller (IPO Readiness)

About the role

We are building a group of technology and infrastructure companies on a path toward institutional capital and a potential international stock‑exchange listing. The Group Financial Controller will design and launch the finance function from scratch, ensuring it meets IFRS, corporate‑governance and IPO‑readiness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the Group’s financial architecture, including corporate structure, intra‑group licensing models and allocation of functions.
• Select, configure and roll out an ERP and finance system with full audit trail, multi‑level approvals and internal controls.
• Establish a single Chart of Accounts, master‑data governance and data‑quality controls across all entities.
• Consolidate multi‑entity, multi‑currency results, eliminating intra‑group transactions and royalties.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes in line with an approved financial calendar.
• Prepare IFRS financial statements, budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and board‑level reporting packages.
• Oversee corporate treasury, banking relationships and Group liquidity management.
• Coordinate external auditors, tax advisors, valuers and other financial consultants.

Required profile

• Proven experience building a finance function for a multi‑entity group.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, corporate governance and IPO preparation requirements.
• Track record of implementing ERP/finance systems and establishing robust internal controls.
• Experience managing multi‑currency consolidation and inter‑company transactions.
• Ability to work with Big‑4 auditors and external advisors.
