Group Financial Controller

About the role

A diversified, privately owned consulting firm headquartered in Dubai is creating a Group Financial Controller position to support rapid regional growth. This senior leadership role will oversee finance across multiple jurisdictions and reports directly to the Group Head of Finance & IT.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, governance and business partnering for entities in the UAE, KSA, Qatar and the UK.
• Shape the finance function together with the Group Head of Finance & IT.
• Manage a direct report with plans to expand the team later in the year.
• Lead a major group‑wide transformation project.
• Oversee treasury, banking and cash‑management activities across all jurisdictions.
• Drive external audit processes and ensure compliance with IFRS standards.
• Partner with senior operational leaders to support commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Mandatory GCC finance leadership experience.
• Proven track record managing multi‑country finance teams.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS reporting.
• Expertise in group consolidation.
• Hands‑on experience with external audit processes.
• Treasury, banking and cash‑management proficiency.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA).

What we offer

• Base salary AED 25,000–30,000 per month.
• Housing allowance, transport allowance, medical cover, annual bonus and flight allowance.
• Limited travel, primarily within KSA when required.
