Group Financial Controller

About the role

A diversified, privately‑owned consulting firm headquartered in Dubai is creating a Group Financial Controller position to lead finance across its regional operations in the UAE, KSA, Qatar and the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, governance and business partnering for multiple business units.
• Work directly with the Group Head of Finance & IT to shape the group finance function.
• Manage a finance team (initially one direct report, with expansion planned).
• Lead a major group‑wide transformation project.
• Oversee treasury, banking and cash‑management activities across jurisdictions.
• Lead external audit processes and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Partner with senior operational leaders to support commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven GCC finance leadership experience.
• Experience managing multi‑country finance teams.
• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Commercial mindset with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• IFRS reporting.
• Group consolidation.
• External audit coordination.
• Treasury, banking and cash‑management.

• Base salary AED 25,000–30,000 per month.
