Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are a fast‑growing maintenance service provider for premium villa communities in the UAE and the UK. The Group Financial Controller will design and lead the finance function, delivering a single, investor‑ready view of the business across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own group consolidation to provide a clean, consolidated financial picture across UAE and UK entities.
• Run end‑to‑end month‑end close and build the monthly reporting pack (P&L by location, consolidated group P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and commentary).
• Maintain and evolve the chart of accounts and tracking structure on Xero for both entities.
• Manage UAE and UK bookkeeping and credit control functions, setting standards and performing final checks.
• Prepare financial information and diligence packs for the current fundraise and future growth.
• Partner with the business on cash‑flow, working‑capital and cost‑discipline to support villa acquisition and office expansion.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CMA).
• 5–10 years of progressive finance experience, including leading a finance function or team.
• Strong technical grounding in IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax and multi‑entity consolidation.
• Proven experience owning month‑end close and building reporting packs from scratch.
• Hands‑on Xero experience; background in maintenance, MEP, facilities management or construction is a strong plus.
• Understanding of contract‑level profitability or a genuine interest to learn the business model.
