Group Reporting Financial Controller – Dubai

About the role

CBOX Containers is establishing a centralised Group Finance function in Dubai to support its global operations. We are looking for a hands‑on Group Reporting Financial Controller who will own group reporting, month‑end close, consolidation and a wide range of finance processes across the CBOX Group.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly Group closing calendar and coordinate timely closure across all entities.
• Prepare consolidated management reports – profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow and working‑capital.
• Review entity‑level results, flag unusual movements and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning.
• Assist statutory consolidation, annual audits and financial‑statement preparation.
• Maintain consistent accounting policies and reporting standards across the Group.
• Review and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts for all entities.
• Post accruals, pre‑payments, deferred revenue, fixed‑asset depreciation and foreign‑currency revaluations.
• Coordinate payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll‑related balance‑sheet items.
• Handle treasury administration, bank processing, intercompany reconciliations, factoring reconciliations and other finance control activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in group reporting, consolidation and month‑end close.
• Strong background in balance‑sheet control and financial analysis.
• Ability to operate comfortably in a developing environment and strengthen existing processes.
• Willingness to support the transition of finance activities from the Netherlands to the UAE.
