About the role
The Guest Experience Agent Telephone Operator answers, records, logs and processes all guest calls, requests, questions and concerns. The role operates the telephone switchboard station and supports guests throughout their stay at the hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Process guest requests for wake‑up calls, screening calls, do not disturb, call forwarding, conference calls, TDD relay calls and non‑registered guest calls.
- Receive, record and relay messages accurately and activate/deactivate guest room message lights as appropriate.
- Instruct guests on internet access and transfer technical issues to the provider’s support line.
- Monitor busy or unanswered lines, update callers on hold and dispatch bell or valet staff when needed.
- Follow all company policies, maintain confidentiality, and ensure professional appearance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
