Guest Room Technician – Pre-Opening at LXR Eastern Mangroves, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Join the pre‑opening team of LXR Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi and help set the standard for luxury hospitality in the UAE. As a Guest Room Technician you will ensure that every guest room, suite and related area operates safely, comfortably and flawlessly from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, covering electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and general repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest service calls, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms to identify maintenance needs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office teams to minimise disruption during maintenance work.
• Record work orders, update maintenance logs and ensure compliance with Hilton engineering standards.
• Support engineering leadership in adhering to health, safety and fire‑life safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond quickly to guest needs.
• Positive, service‑oriented attitude and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
