Guest Services Executive – Guest Relations

About the role

The Guest Services Executive – Guest Relations ensures a seamless and memorable experience for VIP and suite guests at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in Dubai. You will coordinate arrivals, manage special requests, and act as the primary liaison between guests and hotel services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare next‑day VIP arrival lists, requisition amenities, and verify no‑show data.
• Allocate rooms for VIP guests and those with special requests.
• Order, track, and deliver amenities for all arrivals and in‑house VIP/suite guests.
• Inspect VIP and suite rooms before guest arrival and maintain guest history files.
• Attend to special requests before, during, and after stays.
• Escort guests to their rooms after registration at the front desk or executive club.
• Meet arriving guests at the airport, complete registration, and escort them to their rooms.
• Support managers in meeting VIP guests at the airport.
• Provide hotel tours and facility overviews on request.
• Prepare and distribute daily guest amenity lists, remarks, and feedback reports.
• Draft personalized letters for birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, and welcome letters for VIP guests.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years guest service experience in a 5‑star hotel.
• Secondary School Certificate or higher education degree.
• Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Opera front‑office software.
