Head of Customer Insights & Propositions

About the role

The Head of Customer Insights & Propositions will lead the creation and activation of a comprehensive customer segmentation framework for a leading regional retail bank. Reporting to senior leadership, this role sits at the crossroads of marketing strategy, data analytics, product development, and customer experience, driving growth, retention, and lifetime value across priority segments.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own, and continuously improve the bank’s customer segmentation methodology.
• Translate deep customer insights into differentiated, commercially impactful value propositions.
• Lead the development of needs‑based segmentation models and oversee proposition design, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure propositions are consistently embedded across products, channels, and customer journeys.
• Collaborate with marketing, data & analytics, product, and CX teams to align strategies and drive execution.
• Monitor performance metrics, adjust segmentation and propositions to maximize growth and retention.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in marketing strategy, customer segmentation, and proposition development within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven track record of translating data‑driven insights into profitable product and service offerings.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
