Head of FP&A – Financial Planning & Analysis Leader

About the role

The bank is seeking a Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, performance management and strategic finance partnering across a major banking business in Dubai. This senior leadership position works closely with the business leadership team, providing financial insight and commercial advice to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual and long‑term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reviews.
• Provide strategic financial advice and challenge to senior business leaders.
• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability and performance against plan.
• Lead management reporting, financial analysis and performance dashboards.
• Support product and customer profitability analysis and business cases.
• Develop KPIs and deliver insight into key performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Approximately 15+ years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering, preferably within a banking environment.
• Proven ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and translate financial performance into commercial recommendations.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
