Head of Project Management (MENA)

About the role

We are looking for a MENA Head of Project Management to lead our regional project portfolio, ensuring delivery of high‑value projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role will provide strategic direction, oversee multiple Project Management Teams and act as the senior interface with clients and partners across the Middle East and North Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement regional project management strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Standardize project governance, including planning, reporting, Earned Value Management, risk, change and claims management.
• Lead and coordinate Project Management Teams, engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and HSE functions.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets and execution plans, approving scope, schedule and cost changes at governance level.
• Optimize allocation of resources, equipment and materials across multiple projects.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.
• Own financial performance, cost control, forecasting and profitability of the regional portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate strategic and project‑level risks, enforce quality frameworks and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain senior client relationships and support business development and bid activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in managing large, multi‑disciplinary projects in the MENA region.
• Strong track record of delivering projects profitably with full P&L responsibility.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior clients and partners.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive governance standards.
