Head of Supplier Relationship Management

About the role

Suppliers are critical enablers of Etihad’s growth, transformation and operational resilience. As Head of Supplier Relationship Management you will design and execute an enterprise‑wide SRM strategy, leading a large‑scale transformation covering roughly $8 bn of annual spend and a multi‑billion‑dollar capital pipeline. The role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for establishing a business‑led, procurement‑enabled SRM model and a Centre of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise‑wide SRM transformation programme and set up the SRM Centre of Excellence.
• Design and implement a business‑led SRM framework aligned with Etihad’s growth strategy.
• Establish supplier segmentation, performance, risk and governance structures to maximise value.
• Drive executive‑level engagement and strategic reviews with critical suppliers.
• Own the SRM digital ecosystem, including Supplier 360, data analytics and AI‑enabled insights.

Required profile

• Senior procurement, supplier management or transformation leader with a proven record of enterprise‑wide change in complex global organisations.
• Extensive experience in the aviation ecosystem (airline, MRO, OEM, etc.) and deep understanding of strategic supplier landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence CXO‑level stakeholders and deliver measurable commercial and operational value.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• AI‑enabled data analytics and digital procurement tools (e.g., Supplier 360).
