Head of Tax – Dubai

About the role

A leading diversified, multi‑jurisdictional group headquartered in Dubai is seeking a Head of Tax to own and develop its global tax function. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will manage corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing and international tax across entities in the UAE, KSA, India, Germany, Singapore, UK and Luxembourg.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing compliance for a multi‑entity group.
• Provide strategic tax advisory to senior leadership, CFO and board on cross‑border transactions and restructuring.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, lead audits and coordinate external advisors across jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain group tax policies, documentation and risk mitigation strategies.
• Build and formalise the tax function, including hiring, training and performance management.

Required profile

• CA, CTA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 12‑15 years of progressive tax experience, with mandatory UAE or GCC exposure.
• Proven experience in a multinational group, investment fund, family office, conglomerate or Big 4 advisory firm.
• Strong track record of handling multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance, transfer pricing and international tax risk.
