Head Waiter – French Speaker

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced Head Waiter who is fluent in French to lead the service team at one of its nightlife restaurants in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the venue’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the service team throughout each shift, ensuring smooth operations.
• Oversee service of an assigned section, maintaining consistently high standards.
• Welcome and engage guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
• Coordinate with Management and Reception to manage guest flow and table allocation.
• Enforce service standards, procedures, and presentation guidelines.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle requests or concerns professionally.
• Support training and development of wait staff.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, beverages, and current promotions.
• Assist management in sustaining venue energy and service quality throughout the evening.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or similar role in a high‑end restaurant, luxury hospitality, or nightlife environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and guest experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a service team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, polished, and guest‑focused personality.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
