Health Safety Environment Officer – Villa Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team on luxury residential villa projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all construction activities comply with UAE HSE regulations and company safety standards, fostering a zero‑accident culture on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Prepare, review and maintain Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit‑to‑Work documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and HSE awareness training for all site personnel.
• Monitor high‑risk activities such as work at height, lifting, excavation, scaffolding, hot works and electrical work.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe working practices.
• Coordinate HSE matters with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports and safety records, and support audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in UAE construction, specifically in villa or luxury residential projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory.
• IOSH or OSHA certification – advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction HSE regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to join on short notice.
