Health & Safety Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Health & Safety Manager to lead our safety programme at AccorHotel in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing, implementing and maintaining policies that protect employees and ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee health and safety policies, procedures and programmes in line with UAE regulations and ISO standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses and regular safety audits of facilities, equipment and work practices.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses, determine root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, records and reports for internal use and regulatory authorities.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and induction sessions to staff at all levels.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, drills and evacuation procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety management within a corporate or industrial environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE labour laws, occupational health and safety regulations and ISO 45001.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and develop safety management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using safety management software.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standards.
