Heart of House Specialist

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments, including kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. You will ensure guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linens, and a safe, well‑maintained environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dining ware, and laundry items.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishes, linens, and other items throughout the hotel.
• Follow safety protocols, report accidents, and uphold quality standards.
• Assist other departments as needed, lifting objects up to 50 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Commitment to a safe workplace and professional appearance.
• Strong teamwork attitude and willingness to support colleagues.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Use of industrial laundry machines.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
