About the role

The Heart of House Specialist – Steward supports essential hotel operations by maintaining clean linens, dishware, and related equipment across multiple departments. This entry‑level position ensures a safe, tidy environment for guests and staff while adhering to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment such as dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel as needed.
• Follow safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lb, standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• Education: No high school diploma or GED required.
• Work experience: No prior related experience required.
• Supervisory experience: None required.
• License/Certification: None required.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
