High School Mathematics Teacher (American/IB Curriculum)

About the role

Dubai American Academy, GEMS Education’s flagship American curriculum school, is seeking an outstanding High School Mathematics Teacher to join its faculty from August 2027. The role is ideal for educators experienced in the American or IB curriculum who are passionate about fostering academic excellence and curiosity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inquiry‑based Mathematics lessons to high‑school students.
• Design and implement creative teaching strategies that develop critical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and communicate student progress.
• Contribute to school life through enrichment activities and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a degree plus a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, State License, etc.) specializing in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the high‑school level, preferably within an American or IB curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based and practical Mathematics instruction.
