High School Science Teacher – Dubai American Academy

About the role

We are seeking outstanding High School Science Teachers to join Dubai American Academy from August 2027. The school follows an American curriculum and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, serving a vibrant international community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for high‑school students in line with the school curriculum and standards.
• Design and implement inquiry‑based and practical learning activities that foster critical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and communicate student progress.
• Contribute to extracurricular enrichment and professional learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a related degree with a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, State License) specialising in Science.
• Proven experience teaching Science at the high‑school level, preferably within an American or IB curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based learning and practical science instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
