Homeroom Teacher – Cycle 1 (KG)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Homeroom Teacher for Cycle 1 (KG) at Al Falah City. The successful candidate will join a vibrant international school community, delivering the British National Curriculum (EYFS/Key Stage 1) or American Common Core to children aged 5‑8.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the chosen curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL students.
• Integrate educational technology such as interactive whiteboards, G Suite for Education and online learning platforms into daily practice.
• Maintain accurate student records and use data to inform teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject plus a PGCE/PGDE or teaching diploma.
• Valid teaching licence recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• 2‑3 years of full‑time teaching experience with children aged 5‑8 in an international school setting.
• Experience with the British National Curriculum, American Common Core or IB PYP is preferred.
• Attested and legalized academic and professional qualifications as per UAE MOE requirements.

Required skills

• High proficiency with interactive whiteboards.
• Strong command of G Suite for Education and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience using online learning platforms and student information systems.
• Ability to analyse formative and summative assessment data.
