Homeroom Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is recruiting Homeroom Teachers for Mubarak Bin Mohamed Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and involves delivering the American curriculum to mixed‑gender primary students in an inclusive, inspiring classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide feedback to parents.
• Maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external specialists such as speech therapists.
• Communicate regularly with parents and the wider school community to support student wellbeing and achievement.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the American primary curriculum.
• Ability to organise classroom resources and create an engaging learning atmosphere.
• Commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, colleagues and parents.
