Host / Hostess – Front-of-House Guest Experience

About the role

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at our Dubai venue, responsible for creating a warm and polished first impression. You will manage guest arrivals, reservations and seating flow, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience in line with the Food & Beverage Group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and courteously acknowledge departing guests.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins and waitlists using the approved booking system.
• Support table allocation and seating flow, providing accurate wait‑time information.
• Answer phone calls and basic enquiries, escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
• Communicate guest preferences, special occasions and seating needs to the service team.
• Escalate any complaints or operational issues promptly to the manager on duty.
• Maintain the host stand, entrance and waiting area in a clean, organised and guest‑ready condition.
• Uphold grooming, punctuality and professional presentation standards at all times.

• Ability to remain calm, friendly and efficient during busy periods.
• Attention to detail in reservation records and front‑desk materials.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to coordinate closely with managers and service staff.
