Hostess – Arabic Language (EU)

About the role

Fairmont The Palm, a luxury resort on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, is seeking a bilingual Hostess fluent in Arabic to manage guest reservations and front‑of‑house interactions for its food and beverage outlets. The role ensures smooth seating, accurate information delivery, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the reservation system and guest information for each meal period.
• Notify supervisors of large groups, VIPs, or special requests.
• Allocate reservations evenly among servers, communicating birthdays, anniversaries, and any special instructions.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings, providing courteous and accurate information.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menus, ingredients, preparation methods, pricing, promotions, and special events.
• Assist servers and runners as needed and stay informed about local city information.
• Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Fluent Arabic language ability.
• Previous customer‑service experience; hospitality experience is not mandatory.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High energy level, professional demeanor, and impeccable personal presentation.
