Hostess – Guest Service

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel in Dubai as a Hostess. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and manage waiting lists.
• Provide menus, answer initial questions, and seat guests in tables or waiting areas.
• Assign tables while balancing rotation to support server workflow.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Handle complaints promptly and help resolve issues.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and assist in other restaurant positions as needed.
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
