Hostess – Guest Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join the front‑of‑house team at W Hotels in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to a clean, available table.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware and any required items.
• Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special needs and maintain an organized dining area.
• Monitor menus for cleanliness, currentness and proper presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Observe dining room for seating availability, safety and guest well‑being.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report incidents and complete required training.
• Uphold professional uniform standards and protect company assets.
• Answer telephone calls with appropriate etiquette and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
